September 2016: Lavelle wins Gold with NFS Pistons, Reno Air Races

Jeff Lavelle #39 qualified the fastest at 403.411 MPH and won the Gold in Sport Class a 383.397 MPH.
Lavelle came up short by 6.401 MPH on breaking his own qualifying record. Still sporting "Race 39" Glasair III he dominated every race he was in. What helps Jeff race so fast? NFS Pistons in his aircraft engine.

Steven Senegal also using NFS Pistons qualified second in the Formula One class at 250.431 MPH, ~3 MPH under 1st Place. Senegal reached the Gold race but did not start due to a crash prior to the race beginning. Senegal is also still in his Arnold AR-6 known as "Endeavor".

NFS Pistons still holds the records across all three classes it performs in, see below for the records.

September 2015:  NFS Pistons dominate the Reno Air Races!
NFS only makes pistons for Lycoming and Continental opposed type engines, therefore we only are       able to complete in three classes at Reno:  The Formula One class, The Biplane class, and the Sport           class.  We don't make pistons for radial engines or the Unlimiteds.  NFS pistons are used by the record holders in every class where we compete:
